I have to be careful about what I write here because it will be tweeted the moment TIME hits the stands. And if I say something bad about Rob Pattinson, I’m dead meat. That’s the devotion the Twilight films inspire. It’s certainly not how he planned it. And though I am continually impressed by the aplomb with which he handles the hysteria, I occasionally think he would take it all back if given the chance. Because essentially, Rob, 23, is a reserved, bookish sort of specimen, a guy who’d rather spend the night at the corner table in the pub with friends — a bit of a weirdo, frankly, in the best sense.

What’s next for the Twilight Saga cast?

Hollywood News has a great article detailing all the upcoming projects of the Twilight Cast.

Taylor Lautner
Breaking Dawn: Timing TBD.
Abduction: This timing looks much more realistic – 2012 release.
Cancun: Not must to add to this film. It’s in development and Taylor Lautner is supposedly attached to the film, which is releasing in 2011.
Stretch Armstrong: Taylor Lautner will play Hasbros’ Superhero, Stretch Armstrong. There was a bit of controversy when Taylor took this part, as it came at the same time that he pulled out of playing the lead in Mattel’s “Max Steel”. This film is in pre-production and had a release date of 2012

Yesterday we gave you information from Summit about a chance to talk to some of the stars of Eclipse.
We now have information that tomorrow,  Friday April 23^rd, MySpace will host a live chat with Bryce Dallas Howard, Nikki Reed and Julia Jones from THE TWILIGHT SAGA: Eclipse on www.myspace.com/twilight.
Viewers will be able to interact via their MySpace, Twitter and Facebook accounts by posting questions for the cast as the chat is happening. MySpace will broadcast the final trailer from the film tomorrow beginning at 5:00pm PT with the cast chat beginning at 5:15pm PT.
This is YOUR chance to ask these three beautiful ladies questions about Eclipse!!    I hope they manage to answer the questions you ask as I am sure there will many people on here following the release of the final trailer at 5pm PST!  It will be amazing to get the reaction from Bryce, Nikki and Julia on the trailer too!!!

New Picture of Edward and Bella From Entertainment Weekly!

Above is a scanned picture of the latest edition of Entertainment Weekly that doesn’t hit shelves until April 16th, with a new  picture from Eclipse of  Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen!

Bill Condon to Direct Breaking Dawn? 

We reported last month that Summit Entertainment had been looking at top notch directors to bring the final novel, Breaking Dawn, to the screen across a likely two movies. Names floated around include Gus Van Sant, Sofia Coppola and Bill Condon and now Deadline New York reports that Oscar-winning filmmaker Bill Condon (Dreamgirls, Kinsey, Gods and Monsters) has emerged as the number one choice to direct the two-part feature The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.
According to the site Summit Entertainment hasn’t signed him, but negotiations are underway after several strong meetings. Both films will begin production this fall, and the studio is planning on shooting them back to back.
In terms of how the movies will be split, sources tell EW.com that the wedding, honeymoon, Bella’s pregnancy, and the birth will all be covered in the first movie. Part two will focus on Bella’s transformation into a vampire and Jacob’s relationship with Renesmee Cullen.

Condon has been attached to direct indie project Salmon Fishing in the Yemen over at Fox Searchlight and a Richard Pryor biopic over at Sony Pictures. If the deal for Breaking Dawn is set, it’s likely both projects would have to wait.
Meanwhile, The Sun reports that Little Britain star David Walliams has been asked to audition for a part in Breaking Dawn as a member of the Cullen family.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, helmed by David Slade, comes to theaters on June 30, 2010 and the final story, Breaking Dawn, is due in two parts sometime in 2011.

Updated information on the box office totals for Remember Me.

Robert Pattinson’s Remember Me grossed only $483K at 906 theaters in North America this Easter Weekend. Average per screen: a very low $533. After losing more than 1,000 venues, the romantic drama lost 75% of its revenues from a week ago; that’s a very sharp drop. Total to date: $18.2 million.
Overseas total to date: $17.2 million. A week ago, the international box-office total hovered around $10.5 million. Worldwide total to date: $35.4 million.
Remember Me has yet to open in several major and mid-size markets including China, Japan, France, Denmark, Turkey, South Korea, and Argentina.

Why they put tags right in the middle of his gorgeous face…… I’ll never know.   Tsk.  Tsk.   No tags could stop me from swooning though!

Well folks, as I try to remain professional, once again I am pushed to my limits.  Whew… here it goes.  The lovely folks over at Lovefilm have decided to make a chocolate version of Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen of The Twilight Saga.
I created some screenshots of the beginning, and the finished product.  While this is truly a labor of love and I thoroughly enjoy any form of fan art, somethings should be left alone.  LOL!  This reminds me of the Count Chocula cereal when I was a little kid.
She is quite talented I must say.  So, do you think they did Edward proud?  ROFL!

Three New Twilight Saga: Eclipse Images

Summit Entertainment today released a trio of new pics from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third chapter in Stephenie Meyer's harlequin teen vampire saga. No captions have been provided by the studio, so it's up to you to determine the context of the scenes depicted. I for one believe the first pic involves Bella negotiating the terms of a threesome with Jacob and Edward:

New Eclipse Novella to Be Released

 

These are some amazing fanmade pictures of scenes from Eclipse and a manipulation of the official Eclipse poster that was released earlier this week.
I am LOVING the tent scene poster!!  I know Edward doesn’t sit outside the tent but it’s still a great image to see!

With several sneak peaks and with the official trailer that was unveiled a couple of weeks ago, twihards all over are scrutinizing every little detail. And this time it was Edward Cullen that was spotted…with red eyes!

Team Twilightcaught onto the fact that the clip featured a flash of Edward Cullen with red eyes. A closer inspection of the image reveals that he is not only red-eyed but also apparently wearing a Volturi crest necklace much like those worn in New Moonby Michael Sheen, Jamie Campbell Bower, et al.
A commentator to the blog scoured the book to find that there is a sequence in the story on Page 305 that might explain the origin of the moment.
“In Aro’s head he saw me at his one side and Alice at his other,” Edward Cullen says.
It may be a flash imagination of the thought like we saw in New Moonwith Alice’s “vision” of Bella as a vampire. Though, Michael Sheen (who portrays Aro) isn’t listed on any Eclipse cast list that I’ve seen . . . It’s still entirely possible that the scene went through without him here. Only time will tell.
Still very interesting, no?

Very interesting.  I would love to see Edward as one of the Volturi in ‘Eclipse’, but only for a split second then off to Forks you go, Eddie!
