Deepika and Ranbir are all set to work in work together in director Anurag Basu’s next flick ‘Khamoshi‘. But what made Deepika give a nod to work with her ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor?
While most of the Bollywood couples choose not to work with their ex-partner, Deepika looked at the whole picture more professionally than personally.
Confirming the news, a source said, “Anurag has approached Deepika. However, she still needs to take the final call. Ranbir plays the lead role and after their bitter break-up last year, they have not spoken to each other. However, when Deepika got the offer, she was not surprised and is looking at the film professionally. She doesn’t want her personal equations to come in the way. Deepika will now have a final meeting before taking a call.”
Ever since Katrina walked out of the film over the inclusion of Priyanka Chopra, Basu has been hunting for a second female lead. And after much thought Basu approached Deepika.
