Though when the fever was reportedly at its pitch, Priyanka and Shahid sizzled in Kaminey, and the world which always loves a pair of lovers, sighed in satisfaction at this new jodi. For the media, of course, this was all grist to the mill... and from every sighting of the couple to their recent alleged break-up, it all made news. Now comes the twist in the tale.
Enter Kunal Kohli, with a script for which he has signed Shahid and now wants Priyanka. Not so long ago he was miffed with Priyanka because her hectic schedule didn't give her dates to do his film with Saif Ali Khan. But Kunal is ready to forget the past. He is meeting Priyanka to talk about his film that will bring Shahid and her back onscreen. The filmmaker will also approach three other actresses because his film has two female leads playing pivotal roles. Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha and Deepika Padukone are on top of the list.
But will Priyanka agree, given that she is sick of people always talking about her equation with Shahid and ignoring her work? And that every story about her somehow brings Shahid into the picture?
There will be curiosity to see the actors working together again. Plus the movie is a love story so one can imagine the chemistry that will be on offer in case the two team up. Kunal, however, remained tight-lipped. "It is true that Shahid has been signed on. It is a love story spanning a 100 years. I cannot comment on the actresses as we haven't started casting yet," is all he said. Shahid told BT, "I have enjoyed Kunal's works in the past whether it's Hum Tum or Fanaa and I'm looking forward to this love story. Whoever he decides to be cast opposite me, I'm okay with it."
Priyanka Chopra and Shahid: Ishq Vishk Again
Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor will co-star in an upcoming Ishq Vishk sequelWord on the B-Town street is that after Kaminey, Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor are coming together again in a sequel to Shahid's debut film Ishq Vishk. The original featured Amrita Rao in the lead along with Shaks and was directed by Ken Ghosh.
Under wraps
Says an insider, "Producer Ramesh Taurani wants to make a sequel to Ishq Vishk with Shahid and Priyanka. Everything is under wraps as Taurani doesn't want the director of the original to know about his plans. Taurani is currently garnering finance for the film. Ghosh won't direct the sequel."
Ishq Vishk 2 will have director Anubhav Sinha's wife Ratna at the helm. Ratna has previously directed music videos. "Talks are on with the lead pair. It's a fresh romance and very different from what PC and Shaks did in Kaminey. The film will be shot before Race 2, " adds the source.
However, Ramesh says, "I have liked one of Ratna Sinha's scripts but I am not planning a sequel to Ishq Vishk."
No idea
Ken says, "I have no idea about a sequel to my film. It's too late to do a sequel now. After Ishq Vishk became a hit we had toyed with the idea of making a sequel but couldn't get a good script so we discarded the idea."

Satish Kaushik, the director of the film said, “I didn’t have to convince him at all. He was absolutely cool with dressing up as a girl. And he did carry off the outfit very well”.
Revealing a bit about the scene, Satish says, “The first time that a hero and heroine set eyes on each other is an important moment in every movie. This time around, we have treated it differently. In the movie, Shahid and his friends are trying to sneak into the girls’ hostel for one of their friends girlfriend’s birthday. Obviously they can’t walk in as guys, so they decide to change their look drastically. And the makeover results in the guys becoming girls. So when Shahid and Kareena meet for the first time, they meet as two girls, he laughs”
Hmmm… Shahid looked every bit a siren. Can’t wait to watch this flick..

Shahid Kapoor played a major role in the release of Love Aaj Kal
When Imtiaz Ali was about to sign Love Aaj Kal he did not quote his price to producer Saif Ali Khan until Jab We Met released, on Shahid Kapoor’s advice.
Imtiaz recounts, “After Jab We Met was ready for release Shahid gave me some really valuable advice. He told me never to fix my price before my film was out. He was like, I am telling you because you are stupid about things like this; wait to see how the movie fares. Don’t fix your price now. And thanks to him I think I got a little more money than I would have ideally for Love Aaj Kal.”
He also adds, “He was the first guy to believe that Jab We Met could be a hit, ahead of me, ahead of Kareena, ahead of anyone else. And he was right.”
As he is around promoting both his films with his beard, he is getting compliments for his beard on social networking sites to which Shahid shyly replied, “P.S. thanks for all the compliments on the beard :)”
Anyway, Shahid is finding it difficult to adjust with his new look and tweeted, “Starting to get used to the beard… but its weird how it takes u into a state of mind…mmmm the power of the beard.”
Shahid is playing an Air Force Officer in the film and Sonam Kapoor is the leading lady who plays the role of an innocent Kashmiri girl. Wow! Here’s a couple that’s new and fresh. Directed by Pankaj Kapoor and produced by Madhu Mantena, the movie will be shot in locations like Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.
What is cooking between Shahid Kapoor and Anushka??

Shahid Kapoor turns down his mothers offer!!
Actor Shahid Kapoor is very close to his parents but he has turned down a film by his mother Neelima Azim, and that too after agreeing to act in his father Pankaj Kapoor’s film Mausam.
After Shahid turned down her offer, Neelima declared that her son is too big a star to act in her film and that she wanted a relatively unknown face. However, it is said that Shahid decided to say no to his mom, as he didn’t like the script.
Meanwhile, Neelima is said to have approached Amrita Rao, who was romantically linked to Shahid in the past, for the female lead role. The search for the lead actor is on, as Shahid has rejected her offer.
