MTV's First Look At Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows

In the midst of all the
Twilight-mania at last night’s MTV Movie Awards, the original teen literary sensation, Harry Potter, took central stage with the reveal of some clips from the latest film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. "Hallows", the last book in the hugely successful series, is being split up into two films, the first of which is due out on November 19th.

MTV premiered the first-look at the seventh film during their awards show last night, which showed the Hogwarts trio facing off against the minions of
Ralph Fiennes' noseless Lord Voldemort. Potter actor Tom Felton , who plays Harry's smug rival Draco Malfoy, won the "Best Villain" award at the show for his role in the sixth film.

If I may put on my wizard’s hat and temporary lighting-bolt scar tattoo for a second, I’d like to point out that the trailer includes a bunch of interesting stuff, outside the usual action scenes and
Daniel Radcliffe's strange facial expressions. We’ve got shots of the Gringotts dragon, the gang at Bill and Fleur’s beach house, and *SPOILERS for anyone out there who still hasn’t read the 7th book* Dobby’s funeral. *SPOILERS OVER but seriously, read the damn book already it’s been 3 years.*

If the first film is going to include all of those scenes, which come from the later parts of the novel, it looks like director
David Yates is seriously changing the order of some of the plot and speeding up some of the pacing. Fingers crossed that this means there will be less time spent on the world’s worst camping trip, but the sheer number of scenes of people running through the woods in this trailer alone isn’t very encouraging. Take a look at the trailer for yourself, and let me know what that scene of Harry attacking a guy in a diner is about. I assume he's a Death Eater, but maybe he's just a guy who made one too many jokes about the epilogue.
